Opening styles
Aluminium windows come in casement, tilt and turn and fixed styles. We'll recommend options for ventilation, cleaning and safety in each room.
Colours
Many colours are available, and some products can have different colours inside and out.
Replacement fitting
Old frames are removed carefully, the opening is prepared and the new window is fitted and sealed, with making good around the frame.
Coastal homes
On the north coast, frames face wind and salt air. Aluminium's durability and proper sealing make it a strong choice.
Whole-house replacement
Replacing all of your windows at once gives the house a consistent look, with matching frames, colours and handles throughout. It also means one set of visits and one installation programme. If you want to spread the cost, we can plan the replacement room by room so every window still matches once the work is complete.
Matching windows to doors
If you're also fitting bi-folds, sliders or French doors, choosing windows from the same range keeps sightlines and colours consistent across the house. Origin's range covers windows and doors, which is one reason it's our best seller.
Ventilation and cleaning
Think about how each window will be used. Kitchens and bathrooms need easy ventilation; upstairs windows need to be cleaned safely from inside. Tilt and turn windows, for example, tilt inward for ventilation and swing fully open for cleaning. We'll suggest the right opening style room by room.
What happens on fitting day
Our fitters work room by room. Each old window is removed, the opening is cleaned and prepared, and the new window is fixed, packed and sealed. We check every opening sash, tidy as we go, and walk you through how the windows open, lock and should be cared for.
Before your free survey
To get the most from your survey, have a think about a few things beforehand: how you use the room day to day, the look you're aiming for, any colours or finishes you already like, and whether other building or decorating work is planned. Photos of styles you like are useful too. None of this is essential, as we'll guide you through every choice, but it helps us give you a precise aluminium windows quote in a single visit.

Choosing a brand
We supply and fit products from manufacturers rather than making our own, which means we can recommend what genuinely suits your home. Origin aluminium is our best seller and carries a 20-year manufacturer's guarantee. RK Steel is our main steel brand, for internal and external windows and doors. We also supply Palladio and Bel'M. At survey we'll explain the differences in plain terms.
Understanding the guarantee
Because we don't manufacture, the guarantee on your product is the manufacturer's guarantee, and it varies by brand. Origin products carry a 20-year manufacturer's guarantee. For other brands, we'll confirm the guarantee for your specific product in writing with your quote, so there are no surprises later.
Getting an accurate quote
Every opening is different, so we don't publish prices. The fastest route to a firm figure is a free survey: we measure, check the condition of the opening and talk through the finish, glazing and hardware you want. You'll get a written quote listing exactly what's included before you decide anything.
