Local challenges
What Ballymena homes are up against
Local guide
Planning your project in Ballymena
Larger family homes
Ballymena and the surrounding countryside have many larger family homes, and extensions are common. Wide openings onto the garden suit bi-folds or multi-panel sliders, and matching aluminium windows elsewhere give the house a consistent look. We'll measure, advise on configuration and give you a written quote.
Renovations and open-plan living
In renovations, many Ballymena homeowners are opening up kitchens and living spaces. RK Steel internal screens and glazed aluminium internal doors let you keep the light and openness while being able to close off spaces for warmth and quiet.
Countryside around Ballymena
Rural homes around Ballymena, towards Slemish, the Braid and Cullybackey, often have long views and exposed sites. Glazed gables and large sliders are popular on new builds, and we plan delivery and access for rural sites at the survey stage.
Seeing products first
If you're in Ballymena and want to see products before deciding, you can book an appointment at our Coleraine showroom, or we'll bring samples of finishes and hardware to your survey.
What to expect on fitting day in Ballymena
On the day we protect your home, take out the old frames and fit, pack and seal the new ones. Every opening part is tested and we tidy up as we go. We explain how to operate and care for your new windows and doors before we leave, with the balance due once the work is complete.
Glass-only jobs in Ballymena
Not every job needs new frames. If your windows are sound but misted, our sister business Coleraine Glass can replace just the units. We'll tell you honestly which option makes sense.
Making a phased plan
Larger Ballymena homes often have a lot of windows and doors. If you'd rather not replace everything at once, we can plan the work in stages, starting with the doors or the elevations that need it most. Finishes and hardware are recorded so later stages match, and each stage comes with its own written quote.
Free survey, no pressure
Every Ballymena job starts with a free survey and a written quote. There's no obligation and no pressure to decide on the day; take the quote away, compare it and call us when you're ready.
