RK Steel internal screens and doors are popular in Belfast renovations, and slim Origin aluminium doors suit rear extensions on terraced and semi-detached homes.

What Belfast homes are up against
Local guide
Planning your project in Belfast
Victorian and Edwardian terraces
Belfast's red-brick terraces and villas have real character. Replacing windows in these homes means getting proportions, bay windows and frame profiles right. Slim aluminium frames can modernise them without losing their look. We survey carefully because older openings are rarely perfectly square.
Rear extensions
Rear kitchen extensions are one of the most common Belfast projects. A large slider or bi-fold across the back, often combined with roof glazing installed by your builder, transforms a dark kitchen. On terraces, rear access can be tight, so we plan delivery and lifting during the survey.
Steel screens in city renovations
RK Steel internal doors and screens suit Belfast renovations, from period terraces to modern apartments. They divide open-plan spaces while keeping the light, and their slim, gridded profile adds character to any room.
Parking and access
City streets can make deliveries tricky. We'll agree parking, delivery times and access routes with you so the job runs smoothly and your neighbours are disturbed as little as possible.
What to expect on fitting day in Belfast
Our fitters arrive with your products, protect floors and furniture, remove old frames and fit, pack and seal the new windows or doors. Every opening part is tested before handover. We clear up as we go and walk you through how everything works, with the balance due on completion.
Choosing between steel and aluminium in Belfast
For period homes and city renovations, the choice between RK Steel and aluminium often comes down to the look you want and the size of the opening. Steel gives the slimmest classic profile; aluminium handles very large panels well. We'll help you weigh it up at survey.
Apartments and townhouses
Belfast's newer apartments and townhouses often have balconies and terraces with tired sliding doors. Replacing them can involve building management and careful lifting of large glass. We'll explain what's involved at survey, including access and timing, before you commit to anything.
Free survey, no pressure
Every Belfast job starts with a free survey and a written quote. There's no obligation and no pressure to decide on the day; take the quote away, compare it and call us when you're ready.
